Vault Vote + Why does a ramen factory need 3D animators?

Hi, Tim, founder of Vite here!
If my writing style feels a little different, it's because I'm currently using voice-to-text because I have been typing and working so much that my hands (and also back and neck) are in huge amounts of pain, so voice-to-text with some editing is how I'm doing this.
I'm sure most of you are pretty well aware that we do a lot of creative things with videos, marketing, and obviously with our ramen. But there's always been something that we just can't really show very well--
See, science is kind of boring if you get all deep into it, like I like to. This, as well as all the other stuff I do, tends to get pretty long, and I'm a writer at heart, hence the verbosity...
There's a lot of stuff that's hard to explain through just words. Visuals are better, but even illustrations can't really capture a lot of the nuances of science, especially once we go down to what's happening in the dough itself.
Get even deeper with things like micronutrients, which are called micro for a reason, and all of these other things that we've learned over time but have had trouble explaining without sounding like a textbook.
Cameras aren't much better because... well. Microscopes are pretty limited in what you can do. But if we use 3D animation... Then we're able to create simplified 3D models to easily visualize otherwise microscopic things.
It also means that I don't always have to be the one standing in front of the camera. Currently, I write, research, direct, edit, release, distribute, etc, etc for these kinds of things, and that takes a HUGE amount of time. Being able to have a secondary presenter, in ways less... tethered to reality lets us show all these cool science things that we do while making it easy to understand and accessible.
You might have seen the gijinka that we released during Chinese New Year-- she'll be a face that you'll see more often, as we've since got a 3D model for her!
The first place you'll get to see her in action is hosting the Batch 4 Vault Vote tournament, coming up NEXT WEEK.
What's the Batch 4 Vault Vote, you ask?
8 Flavors from the Vault enter.
Only one will survive.
Double Elimination Tournament Bracket.
And it's pay 2 win because everything is nowadays and we shouldn't pretend it's not :^) There will be regular voting, but you'll also be able to buy extra votes via gift cards. To be completely transparent, the reason for this is that we don't want a "Morbius pls come back 2 theaters" to happen, where something gets a ton of votes and support but no one's actually willing or able to put any money towards it. This kind of thing lets us know that people are actually willing to pay for the flavor, which... Look, we're a small business, and it's very uncertain times right now with prices are rising everywhere. We're trying to keep our prices from rising too, and this kind of stuff helps us do that by letting us know how much to produce ahead of time!
But what happens if you put your gift card votes towards a flavor, and that flavor gets eliminated? Well, you'll be able to use ALL of those votes to go into the next round for the next flavor you choose.
So, might be a good idea to make friends with different factions, in case another flavor gets eliminated and you want to recruit those votes to your side, hmm?
Anyway, look forward to that, coming up soon! Meanwhile, we still have Vite Noodles and other things in stock right now, and preorders are still open for the Kuro Nyakiri, and many other things!
I think that's been a long enough update for now on what's happening on the regular ramen side of things. Hope you enjoyed these updates. We're trying to do more and more of them and be even more transparent about our processes and all the things that we are up to and doing. If there's anything that you guys want to hear about, let us know!
And remember, be kind and savor life's little victories.
