Garlic Ginger Shiitake Ramen

Ingredients

  • Vite Garlic Pork Tonkotsu (or choice of plant-based Vite Ramen recipe for vegetarians)

  • 1 egg (optional)

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 5 shiitake mushrooms

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Sriracha to taste

Instructions

  1. Finely mince the fresh garlic & ginger.

  2. Thinly slice the shiitake mushrooms.

  3. Heat a large pot w/ 3 inches of water. Let water simmer.

  4. Crack egg into a pot. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until yolk thickens.

  5. Lift egg from pot with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel.

  6. Bring water back to a boil. Mix in diced garlic, ginger and soy sauce.

  7. Add noodles and cook as instructed on the package. Add mushrooms with the noodles to cook.

  8. Add noodles, eggs and Noodtrient broth into a bowl.

  9. Top with sriracha to taste and enjoy!
