All the projects I've started but couldn't continue..
It wasn't because I burned out on them, or didn't want to keep going.
I want to create. More than anything.
There was an exercise and health thing once. There were marketing lessons, cooking streams, mental health discussion, and so much more over these years.
But I can't create these things for Vite. Not unless they make money, and so, every hour I have has to be devoted to making money.
I steal moments for the things I actually want to make. The cookbook, VKS, streams-- Stolen time, between fighting the next fire to survive.

People have asked me, in my previous posts, if I’m going to be okay.
You’re already running on fumes, they say. Where are you going to get the time and energy to do these things?

But, see, that’s the wrong question.
Creating isn’t what burns me out.
To make something from nothing, to let my creativity run wild, to film, to write, to edit, to work with other creatives and watch something grow from just an idea to something we release out into the world--

Creation is what lights that fire, and stokes it into the passion and fervor and energy I crave.
I believe in the indomitable human spirit. Getting up again, and again, and again.
So, next week, I have something to ask of you. Something I’ve dearly wanted to do, but haven’t been able to.
But it needs your help.
A way for us to create without being bound to algorithms, a way to create without permission, and to make the things that we’ve always started and wanted to make for you, but haven’t been able to because of the realities of algorithms and needing to keep Vite running.
It’s never been just about just time. It’s been about what that time has to be used for.
That changes next week.
