Brain Bites
Nutrition, ADHD, fitness, marketing, and whatever else sprouts from Tim's brain that he feels compelled to yap and teach about, sometimes with guest appearances.
I want to create. More than anything.
I want to make something from nothing. I want to let my creativity run wild-- I want to film, and write, and edit, and compose, and draw, and direct, and cook, and immerse myself in creating something that’s never existed before in the world.
Creation lights the fire that burnout threatens to smother.
But right now, I can't.
Why the Vite Creative Kitchen?
Expand for more info
There's so many creations we can't put on YouTube.
We excitedly brainstorm a project, we work on it, we create concepts, sometimes even hiring videographers and film it, and get to editing, and--
We realize we didn’t make it for the algorithm.
So we kill it, and put it away.
And there are other projects, and we’re sure it’ll do well on the algorithm, and then realize--
It won’t make money.
So we kill it, and put it away.
20 terabytes of projects that have never seen the light of day.
We move on, trying not to think about all that excitement, passion, and time we put into it.
Because we have to keep the business going, and we have to make money.
But sometimes... There are days when we can’t do anything.
We're waiting on people, organizations, other businesses that are waiting on other suppliers that hold our fate in their hands. Purchase orders, production timelines, approvals, coordination...
And during that time, we have many talented creatives who wait helplessly.
Every hour we spend right now goes to selling physical products and fighting fires, a constant scramble just to stay in place. We’re still haunted by mistakes of past supply chains, and they take agonizing amounts of time to right again, even when the right people and systems are put into place to manage them.
We have so much we want to make for you. But every hour, every effort, has to be put into trying to keep the lights on in the normal ways-- in creating ads, in spreadsheets, in twisting our desire to create into doing the most inane, frustrating tasks to keep us alive.
Even when we make things people love, the algorithm buries what we post on our own channels, never to be seen even by those who want to see it. And when we have bills to pay to keep everything running, everyone employed, and to keep our promise of ethical business... We can see the tempting options like venture capital that have seduced other businesses into giving up their dreams.
And we understand why they’d do it. Because this stress, this pain could be eased by selling out to them. Who wouldn’t, after so much time under this pressure?
We wouldn’t.
Because we believe in the indomitable human spirit. Getting up again, and again, and again, and raging against the dying of the light.
We have so many things to show you. We have so many creations, ideas, all kinds of videos and concepts and things that have been asked for before, that are held hostage in dusty hard drives as we strain against the stress of just fighting to stay alive. I don't want to cut people, or projects because we're held hostage by others.
I don’t want to stop creating, even while we wait for the tides of the supply chain to favor us.
Help us break the cycle.

What Do We Want to Make?
Expand for more info
We want to be able to create all the creative projects that we’ve dreamed of doing.
There’s a cooking show we filmed four or five years ago, with six or seven twenty minute episodes just waiting.
There’s four episodes of the Giri cooking competition from last year.
There’s the gijinkas, popular when they existed.
From deep dives into nutrition, to the secrets of how we market ethically, to behind the scenes on how we produce high impact content at a fraction of the price of others--
From helping us be able to commission real artists and creatives, not AI, bringing back Gijinkas and 3D animated educational content, to keeping the VKS cooking through story experience alive, to the wild health and fitness experiments I conduct on myself to the ways I’ve found to make life easier with neurodivergence--
Every hour right now has to be devoted to selling physical products and managing their supply chains. Even the creative videos we make for our partners don’t actually move the needle for sales much, most of the time-- We would make more money, with less effort, time, and expenses if we just sold merchandise and launched like other companies.
We do it because that’s the only way we can fund the creative endeavors that we love so much.
If you thought what we made was good when we have to weave these stories into advertisements for the products...
Imagine what we can do without that shackle.
The Vite Creative Kitchen is an eclectic collection of all kinds of content.
Kitchenside chats where you can submit all and any questions that you've ever had, and we'll yap about it while cooking.
It's like sitting at the chef's table, or a friend's kitchen as they talk to you about everything and anything all at once, and somehow, without knowing it, you've come away with more knowledge in cooking and marketing and personal ADHD management and fitness and health and nutrition and whatever else than you ever thought you'd know.
Who it’s not for? People who want to join a private server or Discord, because...
The Discord is already open and free, and me(Tim) and everyone else is there.
If you want to ask us random questions about cooking or marketing or 3D things or ADHD management or whatever else? We’ll be there to yap about it.
A lot of people have said I make myself too accessible.
We’ve been told we should create an exclusive discord where that's the only way you can talk to us. Then, we'd be able to create those lesson packages and access that other people do.But we don't want to do that.
Your support helps us keep everything open.
(which if you want to join (not for customer service things), here’s the link: https://discord.gg/vitecommunity )
Why is this not on Patreon?
Because Patreon has high fees, and doesn't have the ability to integrate into our current website. We want to be able to give more rewards and benefits as we figure out how to do them!
