Luckily, I didn’t end up getting stuck too deep in that rabbit hole, but Lapsangs have been one of my favorite teas since. I named our Lapsang Tian Xing Huo Hua, loosely meaning “celestial sparks”, though the english name is Celestial Embers for its smokiness, because, the character for embers and ash are very inauspicious and I didn’t want to jinx my first campaign ever.
